Rabeth Pareja Torres specialises in Insurance Law, Insurance and Reinsurance Regulation, Claims, Liability Insurance and Civil Procedure Law.
Rabeth is a member of the Corporate Area of Osterling Abogados. She advises Insurance and Reinsurance companies, Brokers and Insurance Auxiliaries, as well as companies and individuals on issues related to claims handling, policy coverage and regulatory issues of the insurance activity. He specialises in advising on the handling of claims under Civil Liability Insurance.
He has worked in Rimac Seguros, as a member of the Legal Department and later as Executive and Head of Complex General Risks Claims, being in charge of the claims handling process (rating, review of adjustment reports, evaluation of coverage and settlement of claims), with emphasis on the handling of claims under Civil Liability Insurance. He has also been a trainer on technical and legal claims issues, interacting with the Commercial, Underwriting and Reinsurance Areas. He was in charge of Standardisation and Monitoring of Surety Risks, managing the claims department of Secrex Compañía de Seguro de Crédito y Caución.
Throughout his career, he has participated in the development of insurance products, preparation of insurance programmes and policies, seeking innovative solutions in the resolution of conflicts arising from the drafting of insurance and reinsurance terms and conditions. He has participated in multiple judicial and arbitration proceedings, as well as in administrative procedures, claims before the Defensoría del Asegurado, La Plataforma de Atención al Usuario de la SBS and Indecopi.
